Description:
No. of Pages=485 This long awaited book finally arrived. It was certainly worth the wait. Perhaps this is the best work of fiction by this very good writer after The FIrm. The plot is fascinationg. A very young and bright student is recruited by a very large firm. This young man had during his college days been witness to an orgy and the whole thing is on video tape. This young man did not participate in the orgy butcan be seen in the video as a bystabder and could be implicated for crime. He is now blackmailed due to the presence of this damaging video. The plot thickens and the young lawer plans an escape route. It is some sort of cat and mouse, that keeps the reader absorbed in interested in the story till the end. Just read it, there is not a dull moment. I loved this book and give it four and a half stars.
Comments by Harsh Pande:
I purchased it in Gurgaon in Feb 2009 while on way back to USA. One good thing about India is that the new fiction books are released in paperback with an affordable price. In USA, most of the new fiction books are released first in hardback cover editions and they are very expensive. Only after the hardcover sale flattens out , paperback editions are released - may be 6 months after the hardcover release.

It was a page turner for me. I read it on the flight to Chicago and it made the flight go quicker. Viren has already given a nice summary and I was going to write comments on the same lines. But I give it four stars (with "The Firm" getting four and half)
