No. of Pages=291 I got hold of this book to read in a strange way. I was traveling from Ooty to Kodaikanal By bus and right across from me was a young newly wed couple very much in love with libido’s kicking in high gear. I saw, both of them holding a book and both were trying to share reading. From the corner of my eye, I could not help sneaking a look, I noticed, they were not turning the page and holding the book upside down. At the next stop I asked the couple about the book that they were reading and highly recommended the same. I was quite skeptical about reading this book but read it any way. This book has been written by an engineer/financial consultant for his love of writing about contemporary society. In this book he has done extensive research and obtained first hand experience about how young adults think and interact. He has knitted it into a story which starts with four friends who all work at a call center. The story starts with a company provided pickup in a van and end up early morning when their shift ends. In between there are glimpse of how the call center employees thin, answer the phones, interact with each other. I enjoyed the most when the narration comes to what these call center people think of Americans to whom they are providing support.
