Description:
No. of Pages=624 When I went to the book store to buy this book, I read on the back that this book is about the invasion of Kuwait by Saddam Hussein and the liberation of the tiny oil rich country by the allied Forces led by United States, I selected this book to read. The back side of the book said it is a superlative undercover adventure. Forsyth has written with such a veracity welter with technological detail that you start to think it could be true. After reading the book I have formed the opinion that this is one of the finest work of fiction written by Forsyth after The day of the Jackal. We all know that the invasion and liberation indeed take place. The writer has beautifully mixed fiction with what really happened. He has introduced a little romance, detailed under cover spy net work in which the genius of Israili Mossad is described in great detail. The book keeps you absorbed and you keep turning the pages. First I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer 623 pages of this book but I enjoyed each and every page. For those who love undercover stories and detective themes, this book is recommended. I give these book 4-1/2 stars.
