No. of Pages=381 This bookk is a sequal to Indu's first book "The Twentieth Wife." The first book is about a love story of Noor jehan and jahangir. The story continues with Noorjahan becoming Padshah Queen ( Chief Queen). The book beautifully describes power struggle between the ladies of Zenana and Noorjahan's love spell over Jahangir. The auther had full freedum to cook up any astry within the co-ordinates of the history. She very skillfully has stayed away from making the story melodramatic. Still keeps the reader's interest in the story. The love story of Jahangir and Noorjahan is so powerful, it is becoming very difficult for me to beleive that any man could love a woman so much. it will take me some time to believe that Sjah Jahan loved mumtaz mahal so much that he created a beautiful monument in her homor called" Taj Mahal" I need to read the love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz mahal. I was so engrossed in the book that I felt sad when Jahangir and Noor Hahan Died. A beautiful book. I wish The auther write a sequal on Shah Jahan's life. I give this book along with The original The twentieth Wife ****.
