Description:
No of pages=319 This is a funny book. If you get hooked to it, which happens when you are about 1/4 way from the begining, you certainly want to know what happened to the tiger. You will admire the imagination of the auther, describing interaction between a human being and a tiger adrift in a life boat in the pacific ocean. The book is full of some disgusting detains of will for survival, by the same token, what one will not do if there is a will to survive. From that point of view this is very unusual book. The main human charactar in this book is a teenage boy of Indian origin, born and brought up in Pondechery India. The book critics say that this book reminds them of the famous book " old man and the sea", which I have not read. If it means anything this book is winner of Man Booker Prize for the year 2002
